[Deloitte] Building the supermarket of the future – A scenario-based approach to strategy (3h)

The German supermarket landscape has constantly been changing and consolidating in the past. Nowadays, new players and technologies bring a high level of disruption to the industry. Forecasting the future of the industry is nearly impossible, yet managers need to make decisions with long-term impact. Together with Monitor Deloitte’s Center for the Long View we would like to introduce scenario design, a way to enable decision-making in such a high-uncertainty environment, and explore the future of the German food retailing industry.”
